Tomorrow, May 18th there will be a Teacher Training Session with Andrew Camenga (Exec. Director of SDB Board of Christian Education), for the Primary Sabbath School Teachers. It will be a three hour session from 9-12. Lunch will be served. If you are a teacher or a sub please try to attend. If you can't, please notify Joanna as soon as possible.
Supplies needed for VBS: 2 liter bottles, 1 liter (16 oz. to 20oz.) bottles, Bottle caps - milk caps are perfect, kid size tractor bike (will be used for "tractor pull"), pin the tail on the donkey game, rubber chickens, yes I said "Rubber Chickens!" If you can help with any of these supplies please let Joanna know.
VBS Decorating & Preparation is being held every Thursday Evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, continuing through June. Come help paint, outline, cut and create a great VBS!
June 8 we are planning a Pre-VBS activity for all young people pre-school through 8th grade. It will be held from 9:00 to 11:00. The activities this year will include, all natural tie dying, homemade ice cream, and more.
We are still in need of a Few Good Men or Women to help with Jr. Camp. Knowing how the summer months are a very busy time for most people, I would like to make it as easy as possible for as many as possible to participate. If you can only help with vespers, campfire, recreation, bible study, music, or your own creative activity, even just one time during the week of camp let Pastor Bob know and we'll adapt the schedule to fit you in. (See a provisional schedule on the bulletin board.)
